Kate Verlice from Ann Arbor, Michigan, is a tennis player who makes her way to the Womens Tennis Association (WTA) tour with the goal of winning major championships and being ranked the #1 tennis player in the world. A big dream that will challenge her in ways she cannot anticipate.
Her plight is made more complex when a family tragedy takes place early in her career. At 22 years of age she is faced with a lifestyle change that threatens her career goals. Kate has to make decisions along the way to give herself a chance at reaching her goals.
